Deal demonstrates communication solutions for sports industry and marks major investment by local IT Company in National Sporting events

With the final countdown to the UAE Championship title underway and preparations for the final shift to their new location and a new commercial future, World Offshore Champions, Victory Team,  today announced plans of a new alliance with Seven Seas, the leading provider of IT and telecommunications solutions to the UAE market.

The new partnership will make Seven Seas the official Telecommunications Provider for Victory Team, allowing them a complete communications solution based on AVAYA Communications.

“As in racing, success in business depends on speed, not to mention reliability.” said Khalfan Harib, Managing Director for Victory Team. “With the AVAYA system, we can expect to be in the very front of the pack when it comes to telecommunications.”

Victory Teams venture into a commercial future this year heralds a new route for the Dubai Team. With their shift to a new state of the art facility this February and already a commission under way to build two new race boats for competing teams, watchers can expect the new ‘commercial Victory’ to run on a parallel line to their Championship results.

The first battle of the year is set to commence on the 17th of January, 2002 at the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club and fans of offshore can expect to see the BMW powered blue boats sporting the new Seven Seas logo on their hull; an accessory that is sure to set the winning team in good stead for their new commercial future.
